What time is check in and check out? During the summer busy season we need you to check out by 10am at the latest so the cleaners can get in cabins to get through them all by 5pm. The office opens for check in by 5pm in summer (mid June-Labor Day)
Off season when the cabins are rented for weekends we have more flexible check in and check out times. If you call or text and ask we will probably tell you it is fine to check in early or even to check out late. Sunday in off season we try to give the cleaners the day off so we don't mind if people loiter until later afternoon and enjoy this beautiful place. But if there is another guest scheduled to come in to your cabin we will let you know and expect you to leave in time for the cleaners to get their work done.
Why can't my pet go with me to the East side where the water activities are? Because we have set a rule and boundary where those who do not enjoy pets may expect no animals in their space. Those who stay on the west side can expect that the beach and swimming area as well as the woods and yard may have pets there. That is the designated area for pets to play.
Can we rent a cabin for just one night? yes but we don't take reservations ahead for just one night. You can call and see if anything is open especially during the busy season (mid June to Labor Day) After this year we no longer will do just one night.
Do you have to rent a cabin to use the facilities? No people come for the day to rent boats, purchase wristbands to enjoy the waterfront and just to visit guests who are staying here in cabins. We ask that if you are using the wristband activities you check in at the office to get those and sign a waiver.
How many people can stay in a cabin? Depends on the size. Figure 2 per bedroom and 2 in the living room so a 2 bedroom max amount of people should be 6. Some of the larger units may accommodate more than 2 in a bedroom.
Can we have visitors for just a day in our cabins and on the waterfront? Yes but again visitors must get wristbands and sign a waiver for using waterfront and if bringing pets they must sign an agreement to abide by the rules and pay a fee of $10. Pets can not visit for the day on the All Seasons side of the property.
What comes with the cabin? A cabin rent includes the cabin equipped with beds and pillows, television, bathroom with toilet and shower, living room area, dining table and enough dishes and pans for the maximum of allowed occupants, stove and refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot, and toaster. Some have screen porches with tables and chairs. All units have an outside grill and picnic table. Sheets and blankets are not left in cabins and must be requested at the time of reservation or prior to arrival. There is a fee per bed. See the list of what to bring on the rates 2019 page under services.
